Building a brand system for a new approach to mental health care.
Therapist Julia Harkleroad saw a gap between traditional therapy and emergency mental health care: people who needed support today, but didn’t necessarily need an ER or an ongoing therapeutic relationship. Her vision brought together two connected ideas: BIC, a methodology designed to train mental health professionals for brief, single-visit support, and Session One, a new care model built around putting that methodology into practice.
We helped turn that vision into a cohesive brand system, defining the relationship between BIC and Session One and creating the positioning, voice, visual identities, and guidelines needed for them to work together. The result is a flexible foundation designed to communicate a new concept clearly across patients, practitioners, partners, and future locations.
